My name is Harley Tedds, I'm 16 and currently live in Norwich, Norfolk, UK where I have lived my whole life.

 

I studied for 5 years at The Hewett School in Norwich, and i Took, ICT, Photography and Visual Arts and Photography BTEC for my GCSE's - achieving a B grade in GCSE ICT, a C grade in VA&P BTEC and an A grade in GCSE photography.

 

I am currently a College student at CCN (City College Norwich) doing a Level 3 diploma in photography.

 

I have been behind the camera for nearly 5 years, I started doing Video's for youtube but then it grew into a major passion for photography.

 

I started out using a fujifilm 9mp compact digital camera, this gave me a start at taking/producing my own photos, Then Christmas 2012 my parent's got me a Samsung WB100 Digital Bridge Camera, I also own a 35mm Film Camera, which i have not yet used, as i prefer digital camera work. I amgot a Nikon D3200 for Christmas (2013) of which i use for all of my photographs. 

 

I Like to photograph Nature and Portraiture, and i would say these are my two strongest points in photography, but I do like to experiment with other types/styles for example: Concert photography, Street and Movement, these aren't my strongest point's but I take part in an event to build up my experience and also to help me with framing/timing my images.

 

I done my first paid shoot in 2012 for a family friend who was (at the time) pregnant, so she hired me to do some *bump* shoots, this has now developed into me being hired for important family occasions like; Christenings and Birthdays, it is an absolute honor to photograph for such special occasions and it also helps me with my social building and working with other people. 

 

I do hope to go further in photography and get my work out there and known by many people, as photography is a major passion of mine, i spend most of my day's out snapping away, thinking of new fresh ideas or manipulating my images, photography has become a daily thing for me, i couldn't have done with without my photography teachers at The Hewett School; Mr Theobald, Miss Cooper, Miss Stratford, Mr Money and Ms Marsom.
